We regret to inform you we will not be producing a Christmas show this year. Nothing major has happened. It’s just a simple matter of a tiny space to perform in and the number of people who audition which all dictate the shows we can produce. Christmas productions are notorious for needing huge casts. Until we get our own bigger space, we are limited as to what we can do.

Pro: We will save approximately $8,000 by not producing a holiday show. That dollar amount represents rent, licensing, sets, costumes, marketing, and props just for one production.

Pro: The amount we save plus the profits from after-school classes this fall and then winter quarter 2027 mean we will be able to produce better quality shows next year.

We are already planning our spring production, as well as two other main stage shows and two Shakespeare productions in our “Shakespeare in the Park” series next summer.

Thanks to all of you who have donated so far this year. All your donations are earmarked for next year’s season.

What now? Come see us at the Scarecrow Festival in October, and Trunk or Treat at PenMet Parks. We are working on a late fall fundraiser, finding sponsors, and recruiting new board members.
